Hotspot Meter — Privacy Policy

Hotspot Meter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All data-usage statistics are computed and stored locally on your Mac and never leave your device. The app makes no network connections to send your information anywhere and uses no analytics or tracking.

Location access is used only to read the name of the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to, which macOS requires in order to provide the network name. This is used solely to group your data-usage statistics by network on your own device. Your location is never recorded, stored, or shared.
